Machined Forgings
Forgings are produced in India and China on various hammers, presses and horizontal upseters in carbon, alloy and stainless steels. All Forging facilities are ISO 9000:2008 and QS 9000 certified. Several facilities have obtained TS 16949 and ABS certifications as well. The hammers range from ½ Ton to 16 Tons and our presses range from 250 Tons to 4000 Tons with upseters up to 6” diameters.
The Cold Forging facilities products range from 4 ounces to 5 lbs and include cold headed fasteners.
All Forging plants are equipped with electric induction furnaces, heat treat facilities, and metallurgical & metrological testing facilities. All tooling is produced in house on vertical machining centers, CNCs and EDMs.
Two of our forging facilities have fully equipped machining facilities which include CNCs, VCMs, robotic drills, broaching machines, boring machines and special purpose machines (SPMs).
Machined Castings (Ductile Iron)
Castings are produced on DISAMATIC high production molding lines. George Fisher technology as well as auto-pour systems with in-stream inoculation enable us to produce up to 400 molds per hour for each line at a consistent temperature and flow rate.
The foundries are equipped with metallurgical and mechanical testing facilities. In addition, these facilities boast in-house pattern, mold and core design as well as manufacturing capabilities including of state-of-the-art simulation software, VMCs and other SPMs.
Stampings & Fabrications
Industrial Products International has two ISO 9001:2008 certified stamping facilities, one based in India and the other in China. The stamping presses have a range of 50 to 2000 Tons. Located at one of the facilities are machines for CNC laser cutting, CNC punching and CNC press brake line processes. Both facilities have their own tooling and die manufacturing capabilities. Both facilities are fully equipped with state-of-the-art welding robotics in addition to CO2 welding lines and SPMs.
